Here is a yummy excerpt from Let Her Eat Cake.
(c)2013 RaeLynn Blue
“Here you go.”
Startled, Kayla looked up. Ethan’s handsome face smiled and he wore his long, blond hair back in a ponytail. When he pushed a piece of chocolate cake with white icing over to her, she noticed he didn’t wear any jewelry on his hands—no watch, no ring.
“I, I didn’t order anything?”
The cake looked delicious—moist and it smelled like pure sugar confection, but she didn’t eat sweets.
“You looked like you could use a treat.” He smiled. The grin fleshed out a dimple and it made him even more desirable. The impulse to lick the dimple and gently nibble on his cheek flashed through her like lightning, setting her already hot horniness to an entirely different level.
“Oh, really?”
Warmth spread from Kayla’s cheeks downward, washing over her like a ray of golden sunshine. Corny? Yes. True? Absolutely.
“Cake makes everyone happy.” He shrugged those delicious shoulders.
“Not everyone?” She looked up at him.
“You don’t like cake?”
“No, not really.”
Ethan’s eyebrow rose in disbelief. “Why?”
Kayla shrugged, suddenly embarrassed at her answer. “I just don’t eat it.”
Ethan shook his head as if that simply wouldn’t do. “Probably because you haven’t tried the right one. I bet that’s why you don’t eat it. You simply haven’t tasted one that made you feel—good.”
